C. (§6.35) Cybersquatting
Federal anti-cybersquatting provisions prohibit certain domain name registrations that are designed to trade on a celebrity’s name. Civil liability for the cybersquatting of a personal name occurs when:
· the registered domain name consists of or is confusingly similar to the name of a living plaintiff;
· the domain name is registered without the consent of the plaintiff; and
